Poste

  • Leads the sales effort for IdentiGEN products and services in target central European markets, including France, Spain, Portugal and Italy

  • Prepare and deliver on annual budgets, setting out key revenue objectives for the period

  • Work closely with the executive team on setting the strategic direction for the company’s core products and services in central European markets

  • Perform an advocacy role in key target markets to convey the commercial advantages of enhanced supply chain transparency, engaging with customers and key decision makers on issues relevant to the company’s vision and mission

  • Participate in key industry meetings relevant to the company’s commercial objectives

  • Build and nurture the local commercial team, focusing on key retail/food processing opportunities in mainland Europe

  • Localize the company’s B2B marketing proposition, integrating with its core technical product offering

  • Provide direction and content for the local sales messaging and delivery

  • Influence the local brand definition and external messaging

  • Represent IdentiGEN’s culture and core values in the marketplace

  • Provide leadership and direction on how best to target potential

    accounts, establish champions, and develop champions into clients

    Other Position Parameters

  • The position is currently supported by a team of 1 direct report, which will grow, commensurate with need

  • Extensive travel is required, mostly European based

Profil

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the food industry, preferably with a strong retail and animal protein focus

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ in building and managing teams to meet and exceed profitability goals

  • Strong understanding of food supply chains, particularly within the retail, animal protein and food service sectors

  • Demonstrable experience in managing and delivering budgets with direct P&L responsibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Animal Science or related discipline. A master’s degree is desirable

  • Fluent French and ideally Spanish or Portuguese
