Le Responsable Export autrement appelé export manager ou directeur des ventes export, conçoit et conduit à la mise en oeuvre de la stratégie export afin de développer les ventes à l’International.

The Export Manager defines the export sales policy and the strategy for market entry (investments, partnerships, setting up factories, etc.) within their geographical area of responsibility. They then organize the export of products (choosing transportation and distributors) and negotiate pricing levels for each country. They manage the deployment of resources (human or financial) according to the established commercial strategy. If necessary, it is their responsibility to maintain professional relationships with health authorities in the countries involved (if factories are established). They implement their commercial plan and conduct economic and competitive monitoring. They also manage relationships with subcontractors. Finally, they analyze results and profitability compared to objectives and make adjustments if necessary by implementing corrective actions.

Profile requirements

  • A Master’s-level degree in international trade, foreign affairs, or business management with a specialization in international trade.
  • Specific certifications or training in customs regulations, international transport practices, and foreign market strategies can enrich the profile.

Rémunération

Remuneration depends on the size of the company, the size of the geographical area of responsibility and the sector of activity. However, an export zone manager earns an average of €65K gross per year. The salary range extends from €50 to €80K gross per year.
