The position


The Operations Manager in the agri-food sector is responsible for overseeing and managing all food production and distribution operational activities. This key role ensures not only the efficiency and profitability of operations, but also compliance with food safety standards and environmental regulations.   • Define and implement operational strategy in collaboration with general management, managing all production, distribution and sales activities.
  • Oversee compliance with quality and food safety standards across all operations.
  • Lead and coach operational teams, ensuring training, skills development and motivation.
  • Analyze operational performance, identify areas for improvement and implement action plans.
  • Constantly monitor market trends and technological innovations to adapt and optimize operations.
  • Contribute to budget preparation and monitoring, ensuring cost optimization and improved profitability.
  • Play an active role in business development and product enhancement, in line with customer expectations and consumer trends.

Le profil requis

  • Higher education in food processing, production management or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in a similar position, ideally in the agri-food sector, with in-depth knowledge of multi-site management.
  • Fluency in English and ability to work in an international context.
  • Proven team management, leadership and team-building skills.
  • Flexibility, adaptability and results orientation are essential.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and decision-making skills.
