Production supervisor F/M
The position
The Production supervisor plays a crucial role in the luxury sector, overseeing production within a workshop composed of a specialized team. This strategic position serves as a liaison between company management and the operational heart of production, ensuring quality, productivity, and adherence to delivery deadlines in accordance with the high standards demanded by luxury clients.
The missions
- Performance management: Ensure operational excellence in the workshop in terms of quality, productivity, and deadlines.
- Interdepartmental collaboration: Work closely with the Design Office and Industrial Management for the development and fine-tuning of new models.
- Quality management: Maintain the quality standards of finished products, ensuring their compliance with customer specifications.
- Team management: Recruit, train, and lead production teams, promoting the company’s values and facilitating the transmission of expertise.
- Planning and scheduling: Be responsible for the precise planning of orders and the organization of production.
Profile requirements
- Higher education specialized in the garment or textile industry, complemented by solid technical experience in garment manufacturing, ideally acquired in luxury ready-to-wear.
- At least 8 years’ experience in workshop management or a similar role, with proven expertise in the textile, ready-to-wear or lingerie sector.
- Advanced production and team management skills, with the ability to lead projects in a demanding environment.
- Leadership qualities, ability to teach, and a caring approach to team management.
