QHSE Manager F/M

The position

The QHSE Manager (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) in the food industry plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the company’s quality and safety standards. Reporting directly to the CEO or the general management, they are responsible for upholding QHSE norms and practices within the group.

  • Organize and manage the QHSE department to achieve the objectives set by management.
  • Monitor product quality throughout the production process and manage non-conformities.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions and ensure compliance with quality management systems.
  • Communicate with client quality departments, both national and international.
  • Obtain and maintain QHSE certifications for various production sites.
  • Conduct technical and regulatory monitoring to ensure continuous improvement of QHSE performance.
  • Provide technical support to producers and production sites in their quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure industrial sites comply with safety and environmental standards.
  • Participate in the group’s sustainability policy, particularly in the areas of agroecology and carbon footprint reduction.

Profile requirements

  • Master’s degree or Engineering school in Food Science, with a specialization in QHSE.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in a QHSE role, ideally in an SME food industry environment.
  • Competence in QHSE management and leadership, with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Independent, excellent organizational skills, and a strong capacity for analysis and synthesis.
  • Proficient in business English, with a significant portion of activities conducted internationally.

Remuneration

Compensation for the position of QHSE Manager varies according to experience, specific skills, company size and international scope. It may include a base salary, target-related bonuses, performance bonuses and additional benefits.
